Guess we will have to wait until Chapter 3 to see the consequences of your actions. Yeah In chapter one and two of Deltarune, we have parallel sequences of Ralsei asking Kris to close their eyes and envision what Susie is doing at that moment. Enjoy your weird evil villainous route… you monster. (SPOILERS) DELTARUNE Chapter 2 - Ralsei Knows The Player Exists So we all know by now that Kris is a character with their own mind that we the player control against their will. There are many disturbing differences in the light world before the chapter ends.Īnd that’s basically it. You’ll notice several changes to the rest of the chapter, including the final boss fight which will be an amped-up, more difficult version of the secret boss, Spamton NEO, taken on by Kris alone. When the rest of your party reunites, only use violent actions. Keep attempting to cast it until the battle ends. It requires max TP to be used (and can only be used because of the Thorn Ring, since it usually costs 200% TP).

In the Berdly boss fight, you will notice Noelle has a new ability called SnowGrave. You will be offered the Thorn Ring for 1997 Kromer. Complete them in the normal way, by using IceShock. In the next four rooms there are four more monster encounters. Keep choosing this prompt until Noelle freezes the puzzle. When you reach the second annoying mouse puzzle, choose “proceed” when prompted. It should give you the message “4 Left.” If it does not, you will have to backtrack and kill more enemies with IceShock. In the room with two long roads, visit the dumpster. When given a prompt, respond “That’s natural.” The music should fade back in as a creepy, slow, pitched-down version Proceed onward to the first force field puzzle. The point is, it’s the “evil” route and, in my opinion, it feels much, much worse than the “No Mercy” route in Undertale. It’s been called many things: the Snowgrave Route, the Weird Route, the Genocide Route, the Pipis Route, the Slash Route, the Alternate Route - take your pick. Then Chapter 2 came out and, guess what? Toby Fox included a route dedicated to murder once more. Chapter 1 seemed to really hammer home that player choice did not matter, and so we all accepted that this truly was a different sort of game. When its sequel, Deltarune, came out, fans were a little confused because it seemed as if there was no comparable route.
#DELTA RUNE 2 SECRETS SERIAL#
Of course, all the sickos of the gaming world gladly jumped at the opportunity to become serial killers. The light and humorous world of Undertale basically became a horror game with the difficulty turned way up. Developer Toby Fox was always interested in how monstrous someone would have to be to actually kill as much as an RPG protagonist did, and this route was a commentary on that. Undertale was well-known for its multiple routes and endings, most notably the “Genocide” or “No Mercy” route that involved the player killing everyone and everything.
